Manny's Bio

Manny deMelo is a worship leader/songwriter, and pianist with a tremendous anointing and passion for the Lord. Manny's entire life is dedicated towards worshipping God through full time ministry at Ablaze Ministry and sister ministry Kingdom Sound.

Manny Was born in Pawtucket,RI. At the age of 11 Manny was introduced to music and by the age of 14, Manny, began to teach others how to play the piano and accordion. He graduated from La Salle Academy in 1991 and later Berklee College of music in 1995 with a BA degree in Music Synthesis (Computer Music Recording). Prior to that time, Manny would travel house to house as a teacher, but without the Lord. Soon after Manny's graduation from Berklee, It was because of an 8 year old girl (who was his piano student at the time) that prayed for his soul that Manny recieved his Salvation. From that day forward Manny has lived his life in the ways of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He since then has turned away his former lifestyle of playing shows at portuguese clubs and feasts to then became a music minister, teacher, and worship leader!

At the time he became a worship leader he was given a vision, from God, that has led to the building and existence of Ablaze Ministries and Kingdom Sound. Manny is married to a beautiful woman named Kim deMelo and he has a 2 1/2 year old daughter named Katelyn. He currently lives in Warwick RI with his wife and daughter. He is also a music teacher at Masters Regional Academy and full time CEO of Ablaze Ministries as director, music teacher, and music evangelist as well as Kingdom Sound Inc. as a studio engineer.

Maria's Bio

Maria deMelo is the Co-Founder/CFO and Administrator of Ablaze Ministries and Kingdom Sound Inc. Maria, who is Manny deMelo's Mother, handles all the booking as well as all the many difficult tasks of keeping both ministries organized, operating, and moving. From booking meetings, lessons and studio time, to billing and all the financial operation of AM and KS, she has been dedicated above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that everything behind the scenes is taken care of. She is the friendly voice behind our ministry, and she is a true sister in Christ, who never complains about her personal strife, but lives to give to others. She is a true blessing to everyone she knows!

Nicole's Bio

Nicole was born in Providence, RI in 1985. At the age of 9 Nicole started taking piano lessons, and for the first 3 years of her piano experience Nicole spent her time with a classically trained teacher. In 1997, by pure divine intervention, Nicole met Manny deMelo at a mutual friends home. It was then in 1997 Manny started to undertake sound projects with her father, Rev. and Pastor Timothy Trafford; Soon-there-after Manny started to teach her in the way of worship leading. At the age of 10 Nicole started to take flute up the flute and in 2007 she graduated with her BA degree in Music from Rhode Island College, her concentrated instrument: Flute. In 2003 Nicole joined with Kingdom Sound/Ablaze Ministries as Teacher and currently teaches at Dayspring Christian Academy under AM's Ablaze School of Music. In 2005 she worked in the Kingdom Sound Studio as an Editing Engineer.

As of late, Nicole has started to help Ablaze Ministries and Kingdom Sound in the area of Advertising and Marketing, along with designing KSound.Org and Ablazeministries.org.

Nicole was raised in a Christian home as an Evangelist's daughter. Spending many numerous weekends on the road as a child she has seen the wonders of God and the many things He can do if we only seek and trust in Him. Music always filled her home with two musically inclined parents her mother, Kathy Trafford a flautist and vocalist and Rev. Timothy Trafford a guitarist and vocalist. They have a ministry entitled, Restoration Ministries you can visit Tim and Kathy Trafford for more information about their ministry. They stand on Gods word and their mission is to bring Hope to the hurting. Along with their ministry they are also recording artists, Manny deMelo is the featured pianist on the album entitled Candle in the Darkness.

From May 2005 until June 2007 Nicole was a backup vocal and secondary worship leader at Living Hope Assembly of God pastored by Charles Cabral. As of July 2007 God has put her parents on an assignment, to pastor Lighthouse Christian Centre (Gospel Temple) in West Greenwich. She has spent the last few months there being their worship leader. She is a recording Artist, and owns her own company Reese Productions (check it out @ Reesekeepsakes.com, Ablaze Ministries piano and flute teacher, graphic designer.
